Why Should I Pay Dues?

Frequently Asked Questions about why my dues are important.

1.)  Wesley Heights has a large bank account that can be used to fund all community events.  Why should I have to pay annual dues when the community already has so much money?
Over the past 10 years the community association has spent close to $60,000 sponsoring community programs and beautification.  If residents do not contribute monies will eventually depleat and there will be fewer opportunities for community sponsored events.

2.)  How much money does the community bring in annually vs. expenses.
On average the community brings in less than $2,000/year.   Expenditures average $4,000 depending on what is programmed.

3.)  How much do community events cost?
Holiday Party Cost:  $1500/yr
Movie Night On Greenway:  $750/ea
National Night Out: $200/yr
Fliers for Community:  $100/ each handout
Community Association Insurance: $500/event
